About The Position
Texas Health Central Staffing Office is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) for the Labor & Delivery (L&D) Unit. This PRN position requires availability for 36 hours per week and will primarily work in Region B, though the main office is in Arlington, TX. The Central Staffing Office provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals and requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on business needs. This role is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma, Associate's Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
- 5 Years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with three years in the last five years in the area of specialty.
- TX RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support maintained every 2 years Upon Hire.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire.
- AWHONN - Advanced Fetal Monitoring Upon Hire or IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Upon Hire.
- NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program Upon Hire or NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Upon Hire.
