Requirements

At least 2 years CVOR or OR Experience
Active RN license with the State of Louisiana
AM or Mid Shift 6:45AM-6:45PM OR 11AM-11PM (36 hours per week)
Epic experience required
Vascular experience
Active BLS and ACLS Certification
Active CPI Certification (can be obtained at the facility)
Current TB Skin Test, Quantiferon Results, or Chest X-Ray
Hep B
MMR
Varicella

Responsibilities

Assisting the team in maintaining and creating a comfortable, safe environment for the patient
Serves as a liaison between surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR Manager, and staff
Ensures all surgical team members perform in a unified effort
Responsible for the smooth and uneventful intraoperative care
Accurately anticipates needs of surgical team by timely availability of needed supplies and equipment
Ensures patient safety through the utilization of accurate assessment, critical thinking, expert evaluation and skillful clinical judgment
