Requirements

2 Years ICU Experience Required
Impella and CRRT/NXStage experience required
Epic EMR Experience Required
Active RN License in State of Louisiana
Active BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIH Certifications (CPI can be obtained at the facility.)
Proof of Flu and COVID vaccine

Previous Travel Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes to the physician.
Operate and manage ICU equipment, including ventilators and dialysis machines.
Perform lab draws, EKGs, and line starts.
Float to ED or PACU to care for ICU patients.
Float to all ICUs.
May float to MS/PCU unit and care for up to 4 patients.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
