About The Position

TBC Healthcare Solutions is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for a 13-week ICU contract in the New Orleans area. The position involves working 36 hours per week on a 7-7:30 shift, either AM or PM, with competitive pay and benefits.

Requirements

2 Years ICU/Neuro Experience Required
Epic EMR Experience Required
Active RN License in State of Louisiana
Previous Travel Experience
Active BLS Certification
Active ACLS Certification
Active NIHSS Certification
Proof of Flu vaccine
Proof of COVID vaccine

Nice To Haves

Active CCRN Certification
Active CPI Certification (can be obtained at the facility)

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting.
Manage patient care with a ratio of 1:2-3.
Float to all ICUs including CIVCU, NICU, SICU, MICU, TICU, and Burn units.
Float to the ED to care for CC admits.
Perform lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts.
Operate and monitor various medical equipment including Alaris IV Pumps, CADD PCA pumps, Servo I ventilators, Fresenius CRRT Dialysis machines, NXStage dialysis, Edwards Lifesciences cardiac monitors, Medtronic EVD Management Systems, Veratron Bladder Scanner & Arctic Sun TMS.
Care for neuro patients primarily in NCU, but also potentially in CCU and SCU.
