Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) PRN
About The Position
Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Cardiovascular Surgery (CVOR) unit. This is a PRN position with a schedule of 10 or 12-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, requiring availability for 2-4 shifts per month minimum and an on-call requirement once per week. As a CVOR RN, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing high-caliber clinical expertise and supporting advanced procedures, including BaroStim™ Implants, innovative heart failure therapies, PFO Closures, structural heart interventions, Carotid Stenting, and complex vascular repairs. The ideal candidate is passionate about cardiac excellence and ready to provide top-tier surgical support.
Requirements
- Current Arizona or Compact State RN license with Arizona endorsement.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.
- Minimum of 1 year critical care nursing required.
- BCLS, ACLS and PALS required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred.
- OR nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Documents patient care provided during surgery.
- Prepares surgical suite with equipment and supplies needed.
- Assesses and care for patients during Cardiovascular procedures.
- Must be flexible and willing to pick up open shifts.
