Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse provides perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular and open-heart surgical patients in a tertiary acute-care hospital. The role is part of an established Heart & Vascular program and involves working in a high-acuity environment alongside an experienced, collaborative surgical team. This is a day-shift opportunity with participation in a shared call rotation, approximately once per week and one weekend per month, depending on department needs. The position is in a teaching environment with opportunities for professional development and career growth.
Requirements
- At least one year of recent acute-care operating room RN experience.
- Active, unrestricted Florida RN license or qualifying multistate license.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Comfort working in an Open Heart/CVOR environment.
- Willingness to participate in the department’s call rotation.

Responsibilities
