About The Position

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This position is for the Night Shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The role requires extensive experience in pediatric care, including specialized care for patients up to 25 years of age, and experience with epilepsy monitoring. Successful candidates must demonstrate proficiency in EKG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.

Requirements

• 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for, prior to travel assignments.
• 18 months of recent Pediatric experience (travel experience will suffice).
• Permanent Ohio License or Compact State License in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification.
• AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification.
• AHA or American Red Cross PALS certification.
• Experience with EKG's.
• Experience with inotropes.

Nice To Haves

• NIHHS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients up to 25 years of age in the PICU.
• Monitor patients with epilepsy.
• Administer inotropes.
• Perform EKG rhythm recognition.
• Pass safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
• Work at least every other holiday.
