About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse - PCU assignment in Atlanta, Georgia, for 16 weeks, starting on 09/21/2026. The role is hospital-based within a float pool, requiring coverage across PCU/IMCU floors with a focus on cardiac patients. The nurse will utilize the EPIC EMR system and may be assigned to telemetry beds. This position offers guaranteed hours and the opportunity for assignment extensions.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
BLS and ACLS required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a facility of similar size or acuity
EPIC EMR experience or demonstrated proficiency with a large EMR system
Ability to float to PCU/IMCU floors and manage cardiac patients in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for PCU/IMCU patients with cardiac conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain protocols
Monitor telemetry, administer cardiac medications and drips as ordered (e.g., Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors)
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to manage care plans and transitions across units
Maintain patient safety and monitoring with an expected 1:3–4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Document in EPIC EMR accurately and promptly; communicate changes to the care team
Float to telemetry beds as needed, maintaining high standards of nursing care across varying acuity levels
