About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The assignment is for 13 weeks and begins on 09/07/2026. The role is within a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. The position offers guaranteed hours of 32 per week with a pay rate ranging from $1,900 to $2,051 per week. The shifts are 3x12-hour rotating.
Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN license in good standing prior to start
- Must pass on-site EKG test to continue contract
- Willingness to work rotating 3x12-hour shifts, including consecutive weekends as needed
- Eligible to work a travel assignment in Hawaii for the duration of the contract
- 32 guaranteed hours per week for the 13-week assignment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care for PCU patients per physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, manage IVs, and interpret ECGs
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team; document in the electronic medical record
- Assess patient condition, respond to changes, and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment, and discharge planning
- Ensure patient safety and maintain infection control and regulatory standards
