About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse - NICU assignment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The contract is for 8 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week, offering a weekly pay range of $2,611 to $2,708. The shift is a night shift, consisting of 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). This role is in a hospital-level NICU setting and requires relevant NICU experience and EMR proficiency.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania.
BSN degree required.
NICU experience: 2+ years in NICU or neonatal care.
ICN experience required.
EPIC EMR experience required.
EOW experience or knowledge required as part of scheduling expectations.
Ability to work the listed 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shift and meet guaranteed hours for the 8-week contract.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to neonates in the NICU, including monitoring vital signs and responding to clinical changes.
Assist with respiratory support, thermoregulation, IV access, medication administration, and other NICU-specific procedures per physician orders.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (EPIC) accurately and promptly.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary NICU team (physicians, therapists, and support staff) to implement and adjust care plans.
Support families through education, discharge planning, and transition of care while maintaining infection control and patient safety standards.
