About The Position
Provide nursing care to medical/surgical patients on a 30-bed dedicated education unit. Travel nurses will care for patients and will not be responsible for educating others. The unit cares for a mix of medical/surgical patients, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5–6:1.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Experience at a Level I trauma center or a mid-to-large hospital.
- BLS certification required.
- Positive attitude and timeliness.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to medical/surgical patients.
- Care for a mixed medical/surgical patient population.
