About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides compassionate, direct nursing care in a medical-surgical setting, following established protocols to deliver high-quality, safe treatment. The role includes creating and managing comprehensive patient care plans, monitoring patients and communicating changes in condition to the clinical team, coordinating care across medical disciplines, and collaborating with the healthcare team to prepare patients and families for safe and efficient discharge transitions.

This part-time position is based at Ascension Via Christi, St. Teresa in Wichita, Kansas, and is scheduled for day shifts.

Requirements

• Hold a Registered Nurse license credentialed by the Kansas Board of Nursing.
• Have a diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or hold professional licensure at the time of hire.
• Obtain a BLS Provider credential within 1 month (30 days) of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross credentials are accepted.
