About The Position
Saint Luke's South Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide medical-surgical nursing care in a rehabilitation setting. The role involves caring for patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, building meaningful relationships, and helping patients regain independence. The nurse works in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment alongside therapists, physicians, and other nursing professionals. The facility is described as state-of-the-art and equipped with current technology, supplies, and resources. The role provides medical-surgical-level care without telemetry monitoring.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse licensed in Kansas or holding a Compact license.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize care for multiple patients.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Associate degree.
- Registered Nurse (KS) registration through the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
Nice To Haves
- Less than one year of applicable experience.
