About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical Telemetry in Plymouth, MA. The contract is for 13 weeks, starting on 10/05/2026. The role involves providing direct nursing care to Med Surg Telemetry patients, interpreting telemetry data, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare teams, and documenting patient information in the electronic health record. The nurse will also be expected to float to other Med Surg Tele floors and overflow areas as needed to ensure adequate staffing and educate patients and their families. The position offers a weekly pay range of $2,552 to $2,752 with guaranteed 72 hours biweekly, working 12-hour night shifts, three nights per week.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience
Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; current AHABLS certification
Ability to pass Telemetry competency exam during onboarding (target: 85% passing score, one attempt, no remediation)
Ability to float to related units and overflow areas as needed
Nursing degree from an accredited program
Documented professional development activities

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care for Med Surg Telemetry patients, including assessment, monitoring, and ongoing care planning
Interpret and respond to telemetry data; administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Float to other Med Surg Tele floors and overflow areas as needed to ensure appropriate staffing
Educate patients and families on disease process, medications, and self-care plans
