About The Position

This role involves floating across various locations in the Austin, TX Metro area within the Med Surg Nurse Float Staffing department. The position is on a rotating PRN schedule and offers an hourly pay of $47. The Registered Nurse will deliver high-quality, compassionate direct patient care across diverse specialty units, adhering to all established organizational protocols. Responsibilities include implementing and continuously monitoring patient care plans, ensuring accurate and timely execution of physician and nursing orders. The nurse will coordinate all aspects of a patient's journey by serving as the central link for communication and assessment among all disciplines within the healthcare team. Additionally, the role requires communicating and meticulously recording all patient conditions, observations, and interventions to ensure a seamless, well-coordinated care plan.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Minimum of 2 years experience required in Med/Surg

Nice To Haves

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
