Registered Nurse – Maternal Child Health
About The Position

The Registered Nurse delivers comprehensive nursing care to antenatal, postpartum, nursery, and labor and delivery patients according to established standards, policies, procedures, licensure, and scope of practice. This is a full-time position at 0.9 status, or 36 hours per week. The stated wage range is $32.00–$49.46. An accepted offer requires positive reference checks and pre-employment background screening. Sanford Health Watertown has a Drug Free Workplace Policy.
Responsibilities
- Apply the nursing process in providing and documenting care, identify unique conditions, and exercise initiative and judgment to respond appropriately.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments using established nursing techniques.
- Complete nursing assessments and establish nursing priorities.
- Initiate patient education plans based on individualized patient needs, as prescribed by the physician and/or hospital policy; provide instruction to patients, families, and co-workers.
- Initiate consultation as appropriate throughout the progression of care.
- Receive, transcribe, and execute physician orders.
- Provide quality, safe patient care in adherence to patient care needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
