About The Position

Live Long Well Care is searching for an experienced Home Care Registered Nurse Manager located in Mt. Airy and Winston Salem, North Carolina. This management position is responsible for providing direct care and compliance support for nursing, as well as conducting marketing and outreach to prospects, hospitals, physician offices, rehab clinics, and senior organizations to grow business and partnerships. The company provides private pay, private duty skilled and non-skilled services for the senior population. This role offers a base salary with monthly commission/incentive opportunities and may involve on-call duties and some weekend work due to the 24/7 operation. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Home Care or senior care, along with management and marketing confidence. Requirements

  • Current FL/GA state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year college or university degree.
  • Two years’ experience in a similar healthcare position.

Responsibilities

  • Regionally managing nursing services and compliance for two Home Care branches (Mt Airy and Winston Salem NC).
  • Focusing on growing the number of clients served and assisting in the management of Home Care branch team members.
  • Delivering person-centered care based on client needs and interests, preserving their dignity and quality of life.
  • Providing hands-on care, proper and timely administration of medications and treatments.
  • Ensuring accurate verbal and written reports and rapid response to any/all emergency situations.
  • Performing professional and restorative nursing services including client assessments, recording vital signs, administering medications and treatments.
  • Keeping timely documentation of written and verbal reports to ensure quality care.
  • Interacting with physicians, pharmacists, and medical personnel as needed.
  • Assisting clients with activities of daily living as outlined in the Care Plan, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Participating in and attending all required in-service training and education sessions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
