About The Position

Maplewood at Mayflower Place Skilled Nursing and Rehab is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. The role assists the Director of Nursing with the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of Resident Care Services at the Community. The starting rate is $40 per hour for an LPN and $43 per hour for an RN, with shift differentials of $1 to $6 per hour more.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as an RN or LPN to practice in Massachusetts.
• Two years of full-time or full-time-equivalent clinical experience.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Able to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases.
• Subject to pre-employment background check, drug screening, and reference checks.

• Experience and/or a special interest in working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNAs to ensure quality care is provided at all times.
• Administer medication, conduct skilled nursing assessments, and provide treatments.
• Perform care involving Foley catheters, PICC lines, feeding tubes, and wound care.
• Complete skilled-care documentation.
• Communicate proactively with residents, families, staff, physicians, and outside providers.
• Assist the Director of Nursing with implementing, delivering, and coordinating Resident Care Services.
