About The Position
Join our team as a Registered Nurse with a focus on Labor and Delivery (LD) and Post-Partum care. We are seeking an experienced professional who is comfortable with various aspects of maternal and neonatal nursing. This position is available in a facility located in City, State.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
- Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring are required
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to Perinatal care is preferred
- Experience in all aspects of post-partum care from transition to discharge for both mother and baby is strongly preferred
- Scrub experience is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Perform cervical exams
- Provide antepartum care
- Manage labor
- Administer amnio infusions
- Administer epidurals
- Perform fetal monitoring
- Perform IV placement and management
- Administer Pitocin
- Circulate during C-sections
- Receive newborns and assist with baby catching
- Perform APGAR scoring
- Provide breastfeeding support
- Provide post-partum care from transition to discharge for both mother and baby
