About The Position

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) with a strong background in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or those with experience in a Level 2 or higher nursery. This position requires the capability to provide exceptional care to newborns, including the potential for handling unstable infants while awaiting transport to a higher level of care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in NICU or a Level 2/3 nursery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to newborns, including those requiring Level 2 or higher interventions.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, intervening as necessary to stabilize patients awaiting transport.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Educate and support families regarding newborn care and health issues.
