About The Position
The Labor and Delivery Nurse is responsible for the planning and provision of nursing care to patients and their families during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods. This role also includes handling emergency situations and circulating for C-Sections.
Requirements
- Current nursing licensure as required by state regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages.
- Manage and respond to emergency situations effectively.
- Circulate for C-Sections when necessary.
- Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel according to their scope of practice.
