About The Position

We are looking for motivated experienced labor and delivery travelers that want to work in a team-based unit. The role involves caring for patients during labor (Vaginal, C Sections, Multiple births), and managing postpartum complications such as Post Partum Hemorrhage and Pregnancy induced hypertension. The position also includes assisting with D&C procedures. The patient population includes Neonates/Infants and Adults. The unit has 16 L&D beds with an average daily census of 15, and a 6-bed L&D Triage. Travelers are expected to work 3 weekend shifts per contract and may be required to float within the facility/scope of practice as needed. Call requirements are for AM & PM shifts, with 2 calls required per 6 weeks. Holiday work is expected if one or more major holidays fall within the assignment period, with specific expectations based on the number of holidays. Full compliance is required to start on time, with a 2-week delay if not compliant due to bi-weekly orientation. Aya Offer is available if the candidate passes clinicals within RTO guidelines and meets facility requirements. Locals are accepted at the same rate. The number of Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) Hours is determined by contract length.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Proficiency in Epic
• Ability to work 3 weekend shifts per contract
• Willingness to float within facility/scope of practice
• Ability to meet call requirements
• Ability to work assigned holidays
• Full compliance required for timely start
• RTO MAX 7 days
• RTO Blackout Dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th)

Responsibilities

• Working holidays as assigned
• Maintaining full compliance for timely start
