This role is for a Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology. The position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience, with a hard stop on Epic and Stroke Thrombectomy experience. First-time travelers are not accepted. The patient population ranges from Pediatrics to Geriatrics. The unit utilizes Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR for unit systems. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 rooms with an average daily census of 25. Scrub color will be provided by the facility. The required response time (RTO) is a maximum of 7 days. Nurses are expected to work every third weekend, not exceeding two weekends per month. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be required. Call is rotated among the team. Holiday work is expected based on the assignment period, with specific guidelines for Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Years Eve/New Years Day. Full compliance is required to start on time; non-compliance may result in a two-week delay due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Candidates will undergo a clinical screen to determine fit, and if approved and within Piedmont guidelines, will be sent to the manager for a final decision. Clinical screens are handled on a case-by-case basis. Locals are accepted at the same rate. The number of Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) hours is determined by the contract length.
