About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position in Interventional Radiology. The manager is looking for a Cath lab nurse but will accept an IR nurse. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience and cannot be first-time travelers. Perm candidates of any Providence/Swedish facility are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. All Swedish facilities honor active compact licenses.
Requirements
- 2 Years of Experience Required
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- Must hold an active compact license.
- Experience in Cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology.
- Experience with Blood/Blood Products Administration
- Experience with Cardioversion / Defibrillation
- Experience with Cooling / Warming Blanket
- Experience obtaining 12 Lead EKG
- Experience with Syringe Pumps
Nice To Haves
- Cath lab experience
Responsibilities
- Perform Cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology procedures.
- Assist with STEMI EP Lab, Interventional, Procedural Biopsies, GI;GU/Renal, Peripheral Vascular Stent placement.
- Administer Blood/Blood Products.
- Perform Cardioversion / Defibrillation.
- Utilize Cooling / Warming Blankets.
- Obtain 12 Lead EKG.
- Operate Syringe Pumps.
- Be on call one weekday and one weekend per month, with potential for additional days and weekends depending on staffing and vacation.
