About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Infusion Therapy team at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, located at the Baptist Clay facility in Fleming Island, FL. This is a Full-time position with day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center integrates the clinical advancements of the top cancer center in America with the comprehensive resources of North Florida's leading health system. As an Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse, the role involves managing patient needs through the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes involving patients and their families in care planning, educating them about their condition and treatment, advocating for patients, and assisting Interventional Radiologists. The position requires providing optimal care through the nursing process.
Requirements
- Associates of Science in Nursing Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required

Responsibilities
- Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services.
- Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
- Educate patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care.
- Serve as patient advocate and responsible for assisting the Interventional Radiologists.
- Provide optimum care utilizing the nursing process
