About The Position

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Registered Nurse in our Outpatient Medical Oncology Clinic at Baptist MD Anderson. This position is focused on infusion chart preparation for all three Baptist MD Anderson (BMDA) clinics. This is a primarily administrative position that involves close collaboration and communication with physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to ensure patients are prepared for treatment.

Requirements

• 1-2 years Nursing Experience Required
• Associate of Science in Nursing Required
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required
• Driver's Licensed Required

Nice To Haves

• Oncology Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Positively affect patient outcomes by providing, coordinating, and supporting evidence-based direct patient care.
• Work closely with a Physician and other team members to provide patient care and education.
• Have strong phone assessment skills and be able to work autonomously in a clinic environment.
