This Full-time Days position is located at the Baptist Clay location in Fleming Island, FL, operating Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse will be instrumental in providing patient care, coordinating with ancillary services, and educating patients and their families about their disease process and treatment plans. This role also involves serving as a patient advocate and assisting Interventional Radiologists.

Requirements

Associates of Science in Nursing Required
Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required

Responsibilities

Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement.
Organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services.
Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
Educate of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care.
Serve as patient advocate and responsible for assisting the Interventional Radiologists.
Provide optimum care utilizing the nursing process.
