About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse – ICU assignment in Sonora, CA. The assignment is for 13 weeks with guaranteed hours, starting on 09/28/2026. The shift is a night shift, working three 12-hour shifts per week, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The role is at a Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Weekly pay ranges from $2,105 to $2,172.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
BLS certification required
ACLS and PALS certifications required
Minimum of two years of recent nursing experience in acute care or ICU settings
EPIC experience required
Ability to perform effectively in a nighttime ICU environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards and the nursing process.
Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across levels; coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion.
Collect relevant data, assess health status, analyze findings, and identify care issues; develop and implement a plan of care.
Coordinate care delivery, promote patient safety, and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Educate patients, families, and treatment team; provide learning opportunities and health information; delegate appropriately and supervise tasks within the care team.
Maintain accurate documentation, including entry in the hospital’s electronic health record system (EPIC) and adherence to infection control and safety standards.
