Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for ICU patients using the nursing process and established standards.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and therapies as ordered, ensuring patient safety and documentation accuracy.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels; advocate for patient needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to adjust care plans as needed.
- Document care and outcomes clearly and maintain confidential, compliant records.
