About The Position

This role is responsible for orchestrating exceptional shift care by assessing daily patient needs and designing balanced staff assignments that match the right clinician with the right patient for optimal healing. The supervisor will lead and elevate their team by directing, mentoring, and educating nursing and support staff during their shift, while actively contributing to their professional growth and performance evaluations. They will champion clinical quality by continuously evaluating the effectiveness of patient care, proactively identifying roadblocks to positive patient outcomes, and coaching staff to maintain high standards. Additionally, the supervisor will resolve challenges with empathy by acting as the first line of support for patient care complaints, navigating concerns smoothly through established channels to restore trust and comfort.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required.
  • Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 to 5 years of ED and or critical care experience
  • RN Leadership and/or Charge experience

Responsibilities
