About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse House Supervisor at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, KS. The position is part-time, working the night shift. Associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through an academic partnership with Wichita State University.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
2+ years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Act as a hands-on mentor, guiding and educating nursing and support staff to ensure every team member performs at their absolute best.
Use clinical expertise to assess daily patient needs and craft strategic assignments that pair the right caregiver with the right patient for optimal outcomes.
Constantly evaluate the effectiveness of care on the floor, identifying hurdles before they become issues and ensuring our standards of excellence are never compromised.
Serve as the first point of contact for patient or family concerns, resolving challenges with grace and professional diplomacy.
Play a key role in the growth of our unit by providing vital input on hiring new talent and shaping the professional development of your peers.
