The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) will work the 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM shift. This role requires the ability to float within the facility. The unit is equipped with 64 beds, including 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds. Common patient diagnoses include Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure. Specialty equipment includes Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. The RN will care for patients ranging from Newborns to Geriatrics. Required drips and medications include Pressors (Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine & Dopamine), Vasodilators (Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG), Anti-arrhythmics (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido), Sedation (Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl), TNK, Heparin, and Insulin.
