Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Nursing)
About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Department. The schedule is 7p-7a, varying for 13 weeks. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty. Required certifications include AHA BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and ACLS. Northside Hospital has specific holiday expectations: staff must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve). Compliance is required, including certifications and badge photo submission by Wednesday prior to a Monday start.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty.
- Required AHA BLS certification.
- Required NIHSS certification.
- Required PALS certification.
- Required ACLS certification.
- Compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Submission of badge photo by Wednesday prior to Monday start.
