About The Position

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department. This role involves managing patients from newborn to geriatric, with common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. The nurse will utilize specialty equipment such as the Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. The unit has 64 beds, including triage, acute care, super track, trauma, CDU, and psych areas. Charge capability is highly preferred, and floating to other units may be required.

Requirements

• Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in ED.
• Some PEDS experience.
• Documenting travel experience.
• TRAVEL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
• Skills Checklist matching specialty.
• Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics.
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC-TNCC IS REQUIRED TO BE IN HAND.
• NURSYS Report.
• Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL RN licenses.
• RTO MUST be included at time of submission.
• EMR Exp Required: EPIC.
