About The Position
Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Lead for Labor and Delivery in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time, night shift position offers the opportunity to lead and mentor nursing staff, manage shift workflows, and ensure excellent patient care. You will play a key role in fostering a collaborative environment, making independent judgments for patient care delivery, and ensuring the team has the necessary resources.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
Responsibilities
- Direct and mentor nursing and support staff to foster a collaborative and high-performing shift environment.
- Apply independent judgment to plan shift workflows, services, and patient care delivery.
- Assess daily patient’s needs to create balanced assignments that ensure clinical excellence and meet productivity standards.
- Resolve patient care concerns and complaints promptly through established professional channels.
- Ensure the team has immediate access to the essential supplies and resources needed for success.
