Registered Nurse - Cath Lab
About The Position
The Registered Nurse will work in the Cath Lab at an acute care hospital. Interventional radiology experience is a plus. Start date is ASAP. First-time travelers are not accepted. The role includes on-call coverage based on facility needs, with a 30-minute response time. Call shifts average about 10 shifts in a six-week period, including one weekend of call; the number varies based on the number of nurses in the call cycle. The traveler will not float between similar units. Block scheduling may be accommodated at the manager’s discretion. Requests for time off must be included at submission. The facility may call off once per two-week pay period, and guaranteed hours are subject to that provision. The facility is a beachside acute care hospital with 266 staffed beds. Nurses wear navy blue scrubs; L&D, OR, and Cath Lab scrubs are provided. The hospital uses Epic for charting. Parking options include a $10 hang-tag, $35 key-card, or pay-period parking rates of $38 at the hospital or $16 at St. Anne’s.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience preferred.
- First-time travelers are not accepted.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Current NIH certification.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- Must be available for on-call coverage with a 30-minute response time.
- Requests for time off must be submitted at the time of submission.
Nice To Haves
- Interventional radiology (IR) experience.
