About The Position

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse works at an acute hospital and may float within scope to the Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR) departments to meet facility needs. The schedule is four 10-hour day shifts per week. The role includes on-call coverage one day per week and on the fourth or fifth weekend, from Friday at 1800 to Monday at 0730. Weekend duties also include on-call and approximately one scheduled Saturday per month. The facility provides scrubs, uses Epic charting, and offers free parking. Guaranteed hours are 70 per two weeks; the traveler may be called off for one 10-hour shift per two weeks.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• An Alaska RN license is required in hand for an auto offer. Pending Alaska licenses are accepted, but the license must be in hand for an auto offer.
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cath Lab.
• Float within scope to EP or IR as needed to meet facility needs.
• Participate in on-call coverage one day per week and on the fourth or fifth weekend.
• Work approximately one scheduled Saturday per month as part of the four-shift weekly schedule.
