This position exists to plan, direct, provide and assist in the evaluation of total patient care in collaboration with providers. The registered professional clinical nurse (RN) is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation. This position performs duties associated with direct patient care and quality assurance activities. Assures completeness of ordered procedures and treatments, instructs patients concerning procedures, treatments and needs, and ensures medical orders are carried out accurately and in a timely manner. This position performs duties associated with symptom management, and direct in clinic patient care and/or telehealth patient care and quality improvement activities. The nurse adheres to the ANA scope and Standards of professional nursing and the code of ethics for nurses with interpretive statements. Our Urgent Care team is seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. The RN functions under the direction of the on‑site provider, performing rapid patient triage, clinical assessments, and supporting procedures to ensure safe and efficient patient flow. This position requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • 1 Year of Emergency Room, Urgent Care, Triage Required.
  • Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
  • Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • 2 Years Experience in an Ambulatory setting preferred.
