About The Position

Elliot Health System strives to inspire wellness, heal our patients, and serve with compassion in every interaction. POSITION SUMMARY: Schedule is variable for RN coverage - no weekends or holidays. Thursdays are the required in-office day, and potentially coverage needs on Wednesdays depending on need. Hours are 8:30a-5:00p Delivers care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex utilizing the nursing process. Creates a therapeutic and caring environment for patient and families. Practices in a manner consistent with the Elliot Hospital Interprofessional Practice model; the ANA’s Social Policy Statement, Scope and Standards of Practice, and the Nursing Code of Ethics; and relevant specialty standards of practice. Demonstrates Elliot Essentials (I CARE): Innovation, Inspiration, collaboration, accountability, respect, ethics & integrity. Demonstrates Elliot Essentials (I SERVE): Introduce, smile, engage, respect, verify, exceed expectations. Participates in staff meetings, special projects, teams, outside courses, cross training and committees. Supports organizational and departmental goals and strategic imperatives. Triaging patient phone calls and patient advice requests in EPIC with provider collaboration, refill requests, completing utox screens, vital gathering. Faxing lab results, working with pharmacies and community colleagues for continuity of care. Safety planning with patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Psych experience required
• New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse License.
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
• Ability to advance basic computer skills as the health system adds new systems or performs upgrades to existing systems.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
• ACLS preferred.
• Nurses are expected to pursue professional certification upon eligibility or within three years of entering the specialty practice.
