Registered Medication Aide (RMA) / Med Tech – Assisted Living
About The Position
RoseWood Village at Hollymead is hiring Registered Medication Aides (RMAs), also referred to as Med Techs, to support residents in its Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role involves providing safe, attentive resident care and building meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Full-time, part-time, and PRN scheduling opportunities are available. The listed full-time opening is on the second shift, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Part-time openings are available on the first shift, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, and second shift, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. PRN opportunities are available on all shifts. Pay is $19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- Current Virginia Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening.
Nice To Haves
- Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care experience preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with Virginia regulations and community policies.
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
- Monitor residents and report changes in health or behavior.
- Assist residents with daily living activities as needed.
- Partner with nursing staff and caregivers to provide resident care.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
- Support residents in the Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods.
