About The Position

Allegro Harrington Park is hiring a certified Medication Aide / Medication Technician for its assisted living community in Harrington Park, New Jersey. The role pays starting at $22.00 per hour, with higher pay based on experience, and same-day pay options are available. PRN scheduling is available for all shifts. The community describes a supportive leadership team, flexible scheduling, a friendly team environment, and opportunities to build lasting relationships with residents. The Medication Aide / Med Tech assists residents with medication administration in accordance with state guidelines, supports residents with daily living activities, and works alongside nurses and other care team members to provide excellent resident care. The role also helps maintain a safe, engaging, and positive environment and builds meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Current Medication Aide or Medication Technician certification is required.
A positive background screening is required.
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.

Nice To Haves

Previous senior living, assisted living, home care, or healthcare experience is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), CNA, or experienced caregiver with medication administration certification.

Responsibilities
