About The Position

Spring Oak Warrenton is seeking a compassionate, dependable Registered Medication Aide to join its resident care team. The role provides medication administration and personal care to older adults while supporting their safety, comfort, dignity, and independence. The aide works under the direction of the Registered Nurse, Director of Wellness, or designated supervisor. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., two weekdays per week and every other weekend. Pay is $23.00 per hour.

Requirements

Current Virginia Registered Medication Aide (RMA) registration.
Ability to follow individualized care plans and medication instructions.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
A compassionate, patient approach to caring for older adults.
Dependability and a commitment to providing quality resident care.

Responsibilities

Administer medications accurately according to physician orders, state requirements, and community policies.
Maintain accurate medication administration records and promptly report medication concerns.
Assist residents with personal care, mobility, and other activities of daily living.
Follow individualized care plans while supporting residents’ dignity and independence.
Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nurse or supervisor.
Work under the direction of the Registered Nurse, Director of Wellness, or designated supervisor.
Help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents.
Communicate professionally with residents, families, and care team members.
