Medication Aide (RMA) 7am-3pm Full Time - Assisted Living/Memory

Lake Prince Woods, an award-winning retirement community in Suffolk, Virginia, is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Registered Medication Aide (RMA) to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of three (3) months of experience in basic nursing assistant procedures preferred
- Successful completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program and competency evaluation
- Successful completion of facility orientation program
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Current Medication Aide certification
- Must be in good standing with no allegations of abuse or neglect
- Current required in-service training
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to resident needs
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented approach to care
Responsibilities
- Administer medications in accordance with Medication Administration policies and procedures
- Accurately document medication administration and resident observations
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed
- Ensure resident safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
- Follow physician orders and individualized care plans
- Maintain compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members
