About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking Registered Dietitians for skilled care communities. This role involves onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours, with approximately 10-12 hours per week and some remote work allowed. Responsibilities include monthly sanitation audits. Requirements

  • Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
  • Licensed (if required by State)
  • 2 years of consulting experience is preferred, but we will consider many factors.
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Enjoy coaching and mentoring others.
  • clinical nutrition: 2 years (Preferred)
  • CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
  • State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of consulting experience is preferred
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours.
  • Perform monthly sanitation audits.
  • Improve the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards.
  • Work closely with the clinical team to monitor the nutritional needs of residents.
  • Provide nutrition education.
  • Work on MDS with the team.
  • Formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
  • Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff.
  • Assist with policy development.
  • Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
