About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian/s for skilled care community. Candidate must be able to complete onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours. 14 total hours per month. This position earns competitive pay depending on experience and current needs. Since our establishment in 1994, we have been nurturing joy through food with long-term care dining programs. Our comprehensive food and nutrition programs are designed and supported by a team of registered dietitians with extensive food service experience. We currently provide dietitian consulting and menu services to more than 4,000 healthcare communities across 49 states. Requirements

Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
Licensed (if required by State)
State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)
CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to represent our company in a professional manner
Enjoy coaching and mentoring others

Nice To Haves

2 years of consulting experience is preferred
Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required
clinical nutrition: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Improve the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards.
Work closely with the clinical team to monitor the nutritional needs of the residents.
Provide nutrition education.
Work on an MDS with the team.
Formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices.
Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff.
Assist with policy development.
Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
