About The Position

DiningRD is seeking a Registered Dietitian for skilled care communities. This position can be split or filled by one RD, requiring onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Total hours per week can vary up to 24 hours. The role focuses on improving the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards. As a Long-Term Care consulting Registered Dietitian, you will work closely with the clinical team to monitor residents' nutritional needs, provide nutrition education, assist with MDS, and formulate nutrition assessments. You will also provide guidance on dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation, ensure regulatory compliance, train dining managers and staff, assist with policy development, and monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems. Requirements

  • Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
  • Licensed (if required by State)
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
  • CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
  • State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of consulting experience is preferred
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred
  • Enjoy coaching and mentoring others

Responsibilities
