About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian/s/ Dietitian Technician, Registered for skilled care communities. This position may be split or filled with one RD. Candidate must be able to complete onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Total hours per week could vary dependent upon candidate and number of communities assigned. Averaging 24-30 hours a week. This position earns competitive pay depending on experience and current needs.

Requirements

Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
Licensed (if required by State)
CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
Enjoy coaching and mentoring others

Nice To Haves

2 years of consulting experience is preferred
Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required
clinical nutrition: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Improve the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards.
Work closely with the clinical team to monitor the nutritional needs of the residents.
Provide nutrition education.
Work on an MDS with the team.
Formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices.
Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff.
Assist with policy development.
Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
