Requirements

• Associate's Degree from an Accredited Dental Hygiene Program

• Pediatric Experience Provided - No Prior Pediatric Experience Required

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, seating, draping, and soothing patient
• Record observations about the child’s dental health, including notes on any infections or other problems that may require attention
• Examine gums to assess levels of periodontal disease
• Maintain instrumentation by sterilizing and sharpening instruments
• Applying fluorides and other dental decay prevention agents
• Provide quality patient care and education regarding tooth and gum care
