About The Position

Join a private dental practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist, providing preventive dental care and contributing to a positive, collaborative patient experience. The role includes dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance and scaling and root planing (SRPs), digital X-rays, oral health assessments, charting, and adjunctive preventive treatments. The hygienist also supports sterilization and infection-control standards and works with the clinical and business teams. The practice emphasizes mentorship, professional growth, and advancing preventive dental care. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is $65–$75 per hour, plus a daily production-based bonus.

Requirements

Hold a valid California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
Hold a Local Anesthesia certification.
Have excellent communication skills and a passion for educating patients.
Be a motivated self-starter eager to learn and grow.
Be coachable and dedicated to meeting professional and office goals.

Nice To Haves

Experience with dental lasers is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance (PMs), and scaling and root planing (SRPs).
Take digital X-rays to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
Administer local anesthesia for preventive procedures, as certified.
Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and accurately chart findings.
Deliver adjunct preventive treatments in alignment with the practice's philosophy.
Maintain high standards of sterilization and infection control.
Collaborate with clinical and business teams to support an exceptional and consistent patient experience.
