About The Position

Salud is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join its team-based care model. The role supports patients and families through self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior-change partnerships while providing a high standard of dental care. The hygienist performs most clinical procedures related to professional dental hygiene care. The position may also include preventive dental services in a medical setting for up to half of each day, and oral assessments and preventive care in local schools. The schedule is 40 hours per week, five days per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no nights or weekends. Hygiene appointments are typically one hour, with 90-minute appointments available as needed. The role has access to coaching and mentorship from a support team of dedicated hygienists and to state-of-the-art dental technology. The starting annual salary is $86,000 to $99,000. Relocation assistance may be available up to $5,000. Salud covers the cost of obtaining and renewing a Colorado Dental Hygienist License, provides comprehensive malpractice coverage for employed dental hygienists, and pays for one professional society membership annually. Continuing education support includes up to $2,000 per year and five paid CE days, prorated based on FTE status. Optional diode laser use training and certification are also available.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene.
Hold a valid, current registered dental hygienist license in the State of Colorado.
Maintain current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

Previous Dental Hygienist experience is desired but not required.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.
